Besides the temple, you can visit Soekarno palace in Tampak Siring. Just like the name, this palace was built for the first president of Indonesia, Ir. Soekarno as the home stay for him when he visited Bali. This place was built from 1957 to 1960 and it was built slowly with some steps so it was different from other buildings. The architect of this place was RM Soedarsono and the early buildings he built in 1957 were Wisma Yudistira and wisma Merdeka. However, there was reconstruction back in 2003.
This place was added by another building due to KTT Asean Summit XIV. The addition building is meant as the conferentingroom and reception to welcome the guests from Asean countries. This place also has Balai Wantilan and it was renovated again for any occasion such as art performance dedicated for guests from Asean countries. Now, this place is used for home stay special for President, families of President and also guests from other countries who visited Bali for business.

Bali is absolutely different from other areas in Indonesia because Bali has so much culture to tell and show. The great place to learn about Balinese culture is of course Pura Uluwatu. This holy temple is located at Pecatu village, South Kuta, Badung, Bali. It takes about 1 hour only from Ngurah Rai airport to reach the temple using any land transportation as long as no traffic found there. It is not hard to find this place even with your GPS on your cell phone.
What makes Pura Uluwatu unique is because this place known as Pura Sad Kahyangan or “The buffer shaft of Bali Island’s windshield”. It is because the location of the temple is on the top of coral reef around 97 meters from the surface of the sea. In the Sansekerta language, the name of this pura means the peak of coral reef. The temple looks like touching the sky so many people want to take photos from the height as many as they can. However, this temple is use for something religious too.
The view is different from the one you look at the pura Tanah Lot. In this temple, tourists will be served with Indian Ocean where the waves hit the cliff. Besides that, tourists can see the sunset clearly without any obstacle since you see this panoramic view from the height compared to the beach. Alongside the road to the temple, you may find so many food stalls so you don’t need to worry anymore if you want to stop by and eat. You can also find hotels, villas, home stays near the temple.
Pura Uluwatu is also the home of Kecak dance which is the authentic Balinese dancing performance done by around 50 to 100 and this performance will be held after evening.

Our morning drive takes us from Swiss lakes to Swiss Army. At the once-secret Swiss army bunker at Fortress Fürigen, we’ll see part of the massive defense system designed to keep Switzerland strong and neutral. Afterward, a short drive into the countryside brings us to the charming Alpine village of Engelberg, our picturesque home for the next two days. We’ll settle into our lodge then head out for an orientation walk. Our stroll through the village will end at the Engelberg Abbey, a Benedictine monastery with its own cheese-making operation. You’ll have free time to wander back before dinner together. Sleep in Engelberg (2 nights). Bus: 1 hr. Walking: light.
